Coucougnettes are gorgeous grilled almonds covered in 70% cocoa dark chocolate, hand-rolled in a raspberry flavored almond paste, with Armagnac and ginger vodka. Coucougnettes are inspired by King Henri IV, who's alleged to have had 57 mistresses and 24 children... The name comes from the regional word coucougne, which means a caress, cuddle, embrace… in short, a “moment of love.”
